Remy Freeman
Environmental Analyst

Remy Freeman joined IEC in May of 2024 as a seasonal intern and was promoted to a full-time Environmental Analyst I in November of that year. Remy develops content for IEC’s website, quarterly newsletters, social media, state summaries, and annual reports. She also assists the Executive Director in the general operations of the office related to program planning and reporting requirements. Remy supports IEC’s monitoring efforts through participation in ambient water quality surveys and laboratory analyses for the NY/NJ Harbor Monitoring Program, Long Island Sound Study, and 604b New York Harbor Monitoring Program. Her lab work includes sonde calibration, turbidity, microbiological analyses, chlorophyll a, and hardness. Remy graduated from Binghamton University in May 2024 with a B.S. in Environmental Science.
